Job Title: Office Clerk – New York, NY

 

Job Summary: The office Clerk Assists in the daily execution of tasks in support of the Assistant Office Manager and Administrative staff such as providing reception coverage, generating check requests and delivering/retrieving packages. 

Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct visitors accordingly, relay incoming calls, take accurate messages, review messages in general voice mail box and distribute in timely manner.
  • Maintain professional environment in reception area; enter all expected guests into building security log, sign for packages and call for messengers as needed.
  • Complete and coordinate meeting request tickets and enter into department calendar.
  • Prepare check requests for incoming department invoices and submit for approval.
  • Deliver/ pick-up packages to/from off site locations as needed.
  • Maintain supplies in both pantries throughout the day.
  • Review pantry/office supplies with Assistant Office Manager weekly.
  • Sorting and distributing incoming mail; process outgoing mail using postage machine and deliver to post office.
  • Assist with any special events or projects as they arise.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma required
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to handle high telephone and visitor volume
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skill
  • Ability to multitask, be well organized and a self-starter. 
  • Corporate attire required
