Overview

To provide supervision, coordination and evaluation of work activities of Post Placement and Internship Coordination staff responsible for following up clients regularly upon completion of their assessment and developing appropriate partnerships for client internships, trainings, and educational opportunities.  

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative supervision to Post Placement Coordinators and Internship Coordinators.   
  • Ensures Internship Coordination and Development is provided in compliance with program policies and procedures by conducting regular reviews of the opportunity repository and audits. Tracks Internship and Alternative Engagement opportunities weekly. Determines quality and quantity of services provided.
  • Provides training and assists staff in the use and evaluation of outreach tools, retention, and follow up services to ensure clients are successfully engaged and working toward their goal.  
  • Documents staff performance. Conducts monthly supervision meetings to review performance. Leads team meetings monthly. Motivates staff.
  • Assists staff in developing a schedule for thorough and comprehensive follow up with clients upon completion of assessment and Individual Service Plan (ISP). 
  • Ensures that all employment verification is obtained for any client reporting employment and has oversight of reporting client employment to HRA. 
  • Identifies in-service training needs and participates in development and delivery of said trainings. 
  • Assists in the identification and interventions to address clients’ barriers to achieving their goals at their new assignment
  • Interviews and recommends applicants for Post Placement Coordinator position as well as the Internship Coordinator Position. Provides project orientation and job specific training on department procedures and operations to new hires.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required with at least 3 years related work experience or Master’s Degree with management experience in a workforce development program. 
Bilingual a plus.
